1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files the site saves on your browser. They help remember you between sessions (e.g. login), understand how you use the site (analytics) or personalize communications (marketing).
2. Which cookies we use
A. Essential cookies (always on)
Required for the site to work. You cannot disable them because the site would not work otherwise. They do not require consent by law.

B. Analytics cookies (opt-in)
They help us understand how you use the site (pages viewed, average time, paths). All data is aggregated and anonymous: it does not identify you personally. Can be disabled from the cookie banner.

C. Marketing cookies (opt-in)
Useful to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns on Instagram/Meta and for remarketing. Can be disabled from the cookie banner.

3. How to manage cookies
- From our banner: the first time you visit you see a banner. You can choose "Accept all", "Essential only" or customize. You can change your mind by deleting your site cookies and reloading.
- From the browser: every browser lets you block/delete cookies in the privacy settings. Note: blocking all cookies can break login.
- Useful tools:

- Safari → Preferences → Privacy
- Firefox → Preferences → Privacy & Security
4. Third-party cookies
We have no third-party advertising cookies that follow you outside our site. The only third-party services are Vercel Analytics (anonymous) and — only if you have given consent — the Meta Pixel for retargeting.
5. Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw consent for analytics/marketing cookies at any time, in two ways:
- Delete the site cookies and reload → the banner reappears
- Email info@profree.co with an explicit request
